This mural represents the vibrancy of the community surrounding Ziegler Pool in Over-the-Rhine.
Designed by Cincinnati-based artist, Andrew Neyer, the design depicts animals of all kinds coming together to play, swim, relax and sunbathe. The life-size characters in the mural mimic the activities of poolgoers and create a fun reflection. The focal point is a rhino, the Over-the-Rhine swim team’s mascot. Four Youth Apprentices led by Lead Teaching Artist, Evan Hilderbrandt, brought Neyer’s design to life, engaging the pool’s community along the way.
