Also during the summer of 2014, apprentices designed and produced a unique children’s activity book that followed a group of young superheroes as they protect Cincinnati and promote the power of positivity.
This special coloring book, filled with activities, is meant to be supportive and empowering to all children. For this project, a team of professional artists led a group of youth apprentices through the processes of planning, design, production, marketing, and distribution of a fully refined coloring book. The book’s narrative and imagery was created by the team and not only sought to celebrate the City of Cincinnati, but the amazing children who call Cincinnati home. Coloring books were for sale and are also given to kids participating in Hero Design Company.
