ArtWorks painted a new mural as part of the public art exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) in partnership with Science Museum of Minnesota.
This interactive mural, YOU ARE HERE, allows museum-goers the opportunity to become mural designers themselves! Lead Teaching Artist Rebecca Nava is worked with 2 Youth Apprentices to paint a Cincinnati cityscape that features a blank “mural wall” outline for exhibit attendees to activate using technology and touchscreen monitors. Through the use of cameras and projectors, the exhibit activation displays a unique new “mural” within the cityscape.
