Avondale Heroes II Mural Dedication

Join ArtWorks and the Avondale Development Corporation to celebrate the completion of this vibrant and inspiring mural on Friday, May 24 from 2–4 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio (3458 Reading Road).

Designed by Avondale-born artist James Pate, the mural highlights community leaders, past and present, and harkens back to the lost 2018 Avondale Heroes Mural that was destroyed by a fire.

Presentation begins at 2:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all. While the mural is located at 3500 Reading Road, the dedication will take place one block south at the address listed above. The dedication will coincide with Avondale Empowerment Day from 3–7 p.m. at the same location.
