constellation (rumi maki) Mural Dedication

Join ArtWorks to celebrate the completion of constellation (rumi maki) on Monday, August 25, from 3-4:30 p.m. at 2827 Gilbert Ave, 45206.

ArtWorks collaborated with celebrated artist william cordova and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park to produce a monumental mural on the side of the Playhouse’s scenic and props facility—an essential yet underrecognized hub of artistic production. Cordova’s work, rich with symbolic abstraction and layered cultural references, will transform this hidden site into a new landmark, drawing more attention to Walnut Hills as an emerging arts district and revealing the creative infrastructure that supports one of the city’s premier theatrical institutions.

This project was completed by a team of 16 Youth Apprentices!
