Naps, Nebulas, and Neurons Exhibition Opening

1001 Colors is delighted to present the fourth Gallery Fellow exhibition of the season, Naps, Nebulas, and Neurons: Mark-Making as a Pathway to Radiance. Led by artist-in-residence Daryl Myntia Daniels, Naps, Nebulas and Neurons presents the work of nine emerging artists exploring how personal objects and cultural tools can become extensions of self-expression through mark-making. Rooted in Daniels’ signature use of the Afro pick as both a drawing tool and cultural symbol, Fellows learned how to translate small, hand-drawn marks into layered prints and digital compositions, experimenting with scanning, printmaking, and digital art techniques to uncover how texture, rhythm, and repetition can reveal hidden surfaces and unseen energy contributing to a final exhibition that celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and collective healing.

Please join us for the exhibition opening on Friday, July 31, from 5-7 PM at 1001 Colors' Your Name Here gallery.

Naps, Nebulas, and Neurons: Mark-Making as a Pathway to Radiance will be on display July 31 – September 9, 2026
