1001 Colors is delighted to present the final Gallery Fellow exhibition of the season, Sense of Tomorrow. Led by artist-in-residence HATSUE, Sense of Tomorrow presents the work of ten emerging artists exploring how personal objects and cultural tools can become extensions of self-expression through mark-making. Rooted in Daniels’ signature use of the Afro pick as both a drawing tool and cultural symbol, Fellows learned how to translate small, hand-drawn marks into layered prints and digital compositions, experimenting with scanning, printmaking, and digital art techniques to uncover how texture, rhythm, and repetition can reveal hidden surfaces and unseen energy contributing to a final exhibition that celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and collective healing.
Please join us for the exhibition opening on Friday, September 25, from 5-7 PM at 1001 Colors' Your Name Here gallery.
